Recently, we’ve been having some great results using myofascial cupping for fibromyalgia pain management.
Anecdotally, cupping has found some very positive feedback over the years, with studies indicating that cupping may reduce Fibromyalgia symptoms more effectively
than conventional therapy treatments alone.
️ ️A 2010 review of literature on Traditional Chinese Medicine and fibromyalgia mentioned positive results of cupping, however more research is still needed
to confirm these findings.
️ ️A 2011 study looked at cupping alone for fibromyalgia, they concluded that cupping reduced both fibromyalgia pain and the number of tender points over
the course of their 2 week study.
️ ️More research is still being conducted, testing TCM therapies with larger populations over a greater longitudinal study design.
